Last week we absolutely nailed the perfect Saturday newsletter. Our early game selection was North Carolina at Appalachian State. It wasn't a particularly well played game, but what it lacked in defense it made up for in excitement. The Tar Heels were able to edge out the Mountaineers despite giving up an insane 40 points in the 4th quarter alone. In the afternoon window we had Houston at UTSA. This in-state battle between two Group-of-Five opponents went into three overtimes! Ultimately, Houston was able to pull off the road victory and keep their slim playoff chances alive. In the nightcap we had #7 Utah traveling across the country to take on Florida in the Swamp. The Billy Napier era got off to a great start thanks to the legs of quarterback Anthony Richardson and a timely game-clinching interception.
If you followed the advice of this newsletter, and had your television tuned into the suggested games, you had yourself a perfect college football Saturday. This week features another solid slate of games for us to pick from. As a rule, I try not to pick the same team two weeks in a row. I think this helps keep the newsletter fresh and interesting. Occasionally that rule might be broken if there is an especially compelling matchup. We won't need to have any repeats this week.
Here are your must-watch games in the early afternoon, late afternoon, and evening windows to make sure you have another perfect college football Saturday.
